Yesterday, Kindred Earth had the pleasure of participating in the Goodmarket in Aintree. Whilst the Goodmarket team have held markets all over Liverpool this was their first visit to Aintree, our neck of the woods. This was our third time setting up shop at the Goodmarket, and once again, it proved to be an amazing experience!
One of the greatest joys of these markets is engaging with the wonderful locals who attend. The sense of community is palpable, and we cherish the opportunity to connect with individuals who share our passion for making the world a better place.
Messy By Nature
During this market, we discovered an incredible business called Messy by Nature. Specialising in soap nuts, this Manchester-based ethical brand is dedicated to transforming home essentials into cleaner, greener alternatives. Soap nuts are a natural detergent derived from the dried fruit of the soapberry tree. They contain saponin, a natural surfactant that effectively cleans clothes without the need for harsh chemicals. Chloe, the founder, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She truly understands the importance of kinder alternatives in our daily lives, and her soap nuts are a perfect example of this ethos. At Messy by Nature, they believe in the power of natural, sustainable products, and we wholeheartedly give them our Kinder Choice Seal of Approval.
Liverpool Zest Limoncello
We also had the pleasure of tasting the delightful zest of Liverpool Zest Limoncello. Established in 2020 by Andrew and Seamus, this limoncello is a testament to genuine quality and craftsmanship. Speaking to the pair, it was clear that they have a passion for creating a simply delicious product and a flair for connecting with people. Their idea behind Liverpool Zest Limoncello™ was simple: to create a quality, carefully crafted product with an emphasis on inclusivity and renewability, not to mention, deliciousness! Every batch is vegan, gluten-free, and made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Comprising fresh lemons, premium grain vodka, raw organic cane sugar, and fresh mineral water, each sip delivers a fresh Amalfi feel. We loved it so much that we had to buy a bottle!
Fit Chocolate Bars
Another exciting discovery was FIT chocolate bars. These bars are not only vegan but also absolutely delicious!
